Spectators: 6724 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when José Limam kicked off to start the match. Habib Abdi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Issam Salem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Salah Sassi hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute of the match, José Limam tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Riadh Ghannem saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Newthorpe FC's Issam Salem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hédi Ghodhbane in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Limam in the 30th minute of play forced Halifax's goalkeeper Riadh Ghannem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Hédi Ghodhbane got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Halifax's Riadh Ghannem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Limam in the 34th minute of play. Riadh Ghannem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Limam, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Anouar Achab who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Riadh Ghannem when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Riadh Ghannem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Limam in the 40th minute of play. Halifax's Riadh Ghannem proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Halifax from getting a goal against them.

With a little luck, Newthorpe FC's Issam Salem got control of the ball when Habib Abdi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Riadh Ghannem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anouar Achab, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Anouar Achab struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Riadh Ghannem didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newthorpe FC. José Limam took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Riadh Ghannem. Riadh Ghannem dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Limam in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Riadh Ghannem prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Newthorpe FC booed when Halifax was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salah Sassi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Newthorpe FC's Abdelkarim Nafti broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Halifax's Riadh Ghannem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anouar Achab in the 77th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Habib Abdi in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Issam Salem saved Newthorpe FC from getting behind. Riadh Ghannem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anouar Achab, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Newthorpe FC's Issam Salem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Habib Abdi in the 86th minute of play. Hédi Ghodhbane blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Issam Salem having to make a save. In the 91st minute, Hédi Ghodhbane fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Issam Salem, passed just outside the right post. In the 94th play minute Hédi Ghodhbane came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Issam Salem. 1-1.
