Khaled Bourguiba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohamad Amor in the 23rd minute of play forced Barkingside AFC's goalkeeper Sabri Sassi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tarak al-Husain blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sabri Sassi having to make a save. If Mohamad Amor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Knutsford's Mohamad Amor dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Sabri Sassi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tarak al-Husain in the 43rd minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 51st minute, Barkingside AFC's Mourad Abdeljilil ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Khaled Bourguiba. Khaled Bourguiba yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Mokhtar Slimane could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Khaled Bourguiba made a huge save. 59 minutes into the match, Knutsford's goalkeeper Khaled Bourguiba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mokhtar Slimane. Khaled Bourguiba stood somewhat misplaced when Kamel Ouertani came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 61 minute. In the 66th minute Mohamad Amor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabri Sassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Mohamad Amor came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Knutsford fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mohamad Amor couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Barkingside AFC's zone, Borhene Namouchi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sabri Sassi came out of the goal and Borhene Namouchi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Borhene Namouchi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Sabri Sassi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Moustafa Nefzi during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Moustafa Nefzi kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Khaled Bourguiba acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 83rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Fathi Clayton. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Atef Agrebi during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Knutsford getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Atef Agrebi hit a great ball. In the 96th minute, Borhene Namouchi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
