Spectators: 6737 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Zine Ziadi kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the match, Romaldkirk's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Essediri came free, but Hatem Ben Jaziri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13thth minute of the game Zine Ziadi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pocklington United's Hatem Ben Hammemi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Romaldkirk's Hatem Ben Jaziri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Essediri in the 17th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ali Essediri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hatem Ben Jaziri was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. The supporters of Pocklington United booed when Romaldkirk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brahim Bouazizi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 24th minute, when Pocklington United's Zouheir Negrouz after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Hatem Ben Jaziri in Romaldkirk's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. Ali Essediri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hatem Ben Jaziri having to interfere. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Pocklington United's Ali Essediri in the 31st minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Hatem Ben Jaziri was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Romaldkirk through an amazing save. Raouf Basli struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Hatem Ben Hammemi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Romaldkirk. Hatem Ben Hammemi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zine Ziadi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 48th minute Ali Essediri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hatem Ben Jaziri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ali Essediri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 55 in the game by Aymen Sanchou from a close distance when the talented Hatem Ben Hammemi managed to make a qualified save. Pocklington United's players were relieved. Boubaker Marzouki's late challenge caught a Romaldkirk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Boubaker Marzouki helped the player get up and apologised. Boubaker Marzouki hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Pocklington United defense, Zine Ziadi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hatem Ben Hammemi. The Pocklington United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hatem Ben Hammemi should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Pocklington United's Hatem Ben Hammemi got control of the ball when Aymen Sanchou tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tarak Trabelsi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ali Essediri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohamed Mosrati in the 71st minute of play forced Romaldkirk's goalkeeper Hatem Ben Jaziri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute Boubaker Marzouki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hatem Ben Jaziri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tarak Trabelsi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the game, Aymen Sanchou cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Hatem Ben Hammemi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tarak Trabelsi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hatem Ben Jaziri having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tarak Trabelsi in the 87th minute of play forced Romaldkirk's goalkeeper Hatem Ben Jaziri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 94th minute of the game. One of Pocklington United:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Romaldkirk:s goal. The referee gave Romaldkirk a penalty, 96 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Brahim Bouazizi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pocklington United's Hatem Ben Hammemi. 0-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Romaldkirk eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
