Romaldkirk's Hatem Ben Jaziri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Najeh Akid in the 3rd minute of play. Najeh Akid's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hatem Ben Jaziri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Romaldkirk's Aymen Sanchou got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zine Ziadi charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zine Ziadi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 12th minute, Zine Ziadi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Najeh Akid in the 16th minute of play forced Romaldkirk's goalkeeper Hatem Ben Jaziri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Najeh Akid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Catford's Hassene Essafi got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 20 played minutes Romaldkirk got a freekick which was hit by Mohamed Salah Saïdi. Hatem Ben Jaziri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hassene Essafi in the 28th minute of play. Hassene Essafi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hatem Ben Jaziri having to interfere. Hatem Ben Jaziri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Najeh Akid in the 31st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Romaldkirk's Zine Ziadi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mohamad Baly. That made the score 1-0 after 34 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hassene Essafi in the 38th minute of play forced Romaldkirk's goalkeeper Hatem Ben Jaziri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oussama Chiboub charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oussama Chiboub the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Najeh Akid to strike the kick off in the second half. If Najeh Akid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, Romaldkirk's goal looked a bit too open when Najeh Akid came free, but Hatem Ben Jaziri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oussama al-Amin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Zine Ziadi came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Romaldkirk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zine Ziadi couldn't finish the play. Mohamad Baly took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aymen Sanchou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zine Ziadi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamad Baly having to interfere. Hatem Ben Jaziri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdelwahab Baly, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Romaldkirk booed when Catford was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdelwahab Baly didn't get a good kick on the ball. Catford's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Romaldkirk had won, even though Catford had held more of the ball.
