Spectators: 6761 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1761, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Abderrahim Belgacem kicked off to start the match. Salah Ragued sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Retford FC's Chokri Bourguiba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Retford FC from getting a goal against them. 16 minutes into the match, Retford FC's Hamza Haggui sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ali Gharbi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Retford FC booed when Middleton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adel Ziadi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 21 played minutes Abderrahim Belgacem rounded Retford FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Hamza Haggui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Ali Gharbi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ali Gharbi came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Retford FC's Hamza Haggui. But to his dismay, Hamza Haggui quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 32nd match minute, Retford FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rachid Gasmi to maneuver through the defense. Salah Ragued received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Chokri Bourguiba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abderrahim Belgacem in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chokri Bourguiba prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hamza Haggui to make the kick off. Abderrahim Belgacem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Chokri Bourguiba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mohamed Kaâbi got free with Ali Gharbi in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Hamed Stambouli fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Retford FC's protests and gave Hamed Stambouli a yellow card for diving instead. Hamed Stambouli kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Salah Ragued received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Chokri Bourguiba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Retford FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Rachid Gasmi hit a great ball. In the 68th minute of the match Adel Sellami sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Chokri Bourguiba skillfully saved the ball. Said Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Adel Ziadi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Salah Ragued had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abderrahim Belgacem scored 2-1 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chokri Bourguiba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ali Gharbi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamza Haggui, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. If Mohamed Kaâbi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mohamed Kaâbi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ali Gharbi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Middleton's zone, Mohamed Kaâbi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ali Gharbi came out of the goal and Mohamed Kaâbi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rd minute, Salah Belhaj El Ouaer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 94 played minutes, Retford FC's Amira Abdi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ali Gharbi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Retford FC reached it. In the 96th minute, Mohamed Kaâbi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Retford FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Middleton.
