Spectators: 6761 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1761, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Muhammad Amor got the match started through his kick off. A well placed Zouheir Karoui short distance shot in the 3rd minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Zouheir Karoui could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Dali Brahem made a huge save. Dali Brahem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Muhammad Amor in the 8th minute of play. With a little luck, Gainsborough's Dali Brahem got control of the ball when Zouheir Karoui tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aziz Omrani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Moncef Meriah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Aziz Omrani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gainsborough's supporters rose to their feet, but Aziz Omrani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moncef Meriah breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mohamed Achab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moncef Meriah having to interfere. In the 22nd minute of the match Hedi Amira Ladgham sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dali Brahem skillfully saved the ball. Moncef Meriah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oussama Jouili, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Mohamed Achab sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mohamed Achab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moncef Meriah having to interfere. Dali Brahem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Muhammad Amor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aziz Omrani struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Moncef Meriah didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gainsborough. Zouheir Karoui could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Dali Brahem made a huge save. A collision led to Gainsborough getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Mohamed Achab hit a great ball. With a little luck, Gainsborough's Dali Brahem got control of the ball when Zouheir Karoui tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 41st minute Mohamed Achab shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moncef Meriah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Hichem Jemmali kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 59 minutes in the game, Mohamed Achab dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 63rd play minute Aziz Omrani came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Moncef Meriah. 1-1. Dali Brahem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radhi Adhoum in the 66th minute of the match. Aziz Omrani's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Moncef Meriah skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Hichem Jemmali hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Aziz Omrani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hichem Jemmali during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, East Cowes's Hichem Jemmali got a free kick in the 71st minute. 72 minutes into the game, Mohamed Achab recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Moncef Meriah. Mohamed Achab showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. In the 77th minute of the match Haroune Makhlouf sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dali Brahem skillfully saved the ball. Zouheir Karoui recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Muhammad Amor struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Dali Brahem didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for East Cowes. Zouheir Karoui took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dali Brahem. Dali Brahem dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. If Zouheir Karoui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Muhammad Amor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
