Spectators: 6725 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lassaad Dhiab took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barnham FC's goalkeeper Ahmed Clayton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Radhi Mor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute Hamed Radhouani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmed Clayton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Thorpe-le-Soken's zone, Lassaad Dhiab stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hatem Khcharem came out of the goal and Lassaad Dhiab tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, Thorpe-le-Soken's Ahmed Clayton threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hamed Radhouani, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Barnham FC's Tahar Ben Meriah got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Mohamed Ameur shot from long distance in the 23rd minute, but Ahmed Clayton was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. When Radhi Mor came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Thorpe-le-Soken fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Radhi Mor couldn't finish the play. In the 25th minute, Habib Ali Namouchi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hatem Khcharem didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hassene Bouazizi went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 31st minute, Hamed Radhouani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 33 in the game by Radhi Mor from a close distance when the talented Ahmed Clayton managed to make a qualified save. Barnham FC's players were relieved. If Hassene Bouazizi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamed Radhouani in the 42nd minute of play forced Barnham FC's goalkeeper Ahmed Clayton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Majed Laabidi's late challenge caught a Thorpe-le-Soken's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Majed Laabidi helped the player get up and apologised. After 42 played minutes Barnham FC got a freekick which was hit by Majed Laabidi. Hassene Bouazizi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Hatem Khcharem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Barnham FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hamed Radhouani was the one to do the kick off. Hatem Khcharem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lassaad Dhiab in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 55th minute Lassaad Dhiab shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hatem Khcharem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lassaad Dhiab received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Hatem Khcharem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thorpe-le-Soken's supporters rose to their feet, but Hamed Radhouani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmed Clayton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hatem Khcharem made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Hassene Bouazizi sent off a good shot on target. Ahmed Clayton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radhi Mor in the 89th minute of play. After some careless play in the Barnham FC defense, Radhi Mor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ahmed Clayton. The Barnham FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmed Clayton should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Thorpe-le-Soken booed when Barnham FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Majed Laabidi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hassene Bouazizi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 96thth minute, Hatem Khcharem skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.
