Spectators: 6752 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1752, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Muhammad Amor started the match with the kick off. Moncef Meriah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Imed Bejaoui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, East Cowes's Zouheir Karoui sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mohamed Kefacha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Zouheir Karoui sped through club sportif sfaxien's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mohamed Kefacha. After a rather tough play, club sportif sfaxien's Marouane Jbara got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Imed Bejaoui recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute of the match East Cowes got a corner. club sportif sfaxien's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Haroune Makhlouf ran over to the corner to take the kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Imed Bejaoui was the one to do the kick off. Imed Bejaoui recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Haroune Makhlouf kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Mohieddine Moatamri fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Mohamed Kefacha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zouheir Karoui in the 61st minute of the match. Mohieddine Moatamri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zouheir Karoui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Muhammad Amor came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the East Cowes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Muhammad Amor couldn't finish the play. Mohamed Kefacha came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by East Cowes's Muhammad Amor. But to his dismay, Muhammad Amor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Habib Jomaa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Muhammad Amor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamed Kefacha having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The East Cowes fans cheered their team off the field, for while club sportif sfaxien had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
