But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emir Benachour couldn't finish the play. In the 9th minute, Anis Tlatli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Adel Bhar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Adel Bhar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ali Karray was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. After 15 played minutes Adel ibn Ali rounded Wooler's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Blyth's Ali Karray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anis Tlatli in the 18th minute of play. Adel ibn Ali's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Riadh Ayari read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Riadh Ayari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adel ibn Ali in the 23rd minute of the match. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd match minute, Blyth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Muhammad Baly to maneuver through the defense. Adel Bhar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Ali Karray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Blyth getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Muhammad Baly hit a great ball. In the 40th minute Adel Bhar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Karray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Riadh Ayari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adel ibn Ali, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Emir Benachour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adel Bhar made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Muhammad Baly shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Riadh Ayari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute of the match Mohamed Hammami sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Riadh Ayari skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Blyth booed when Wooler was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamdi Azzaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wooler's goalkeeper Riadh Ayari, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ali Karray was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Hamdi Azzaro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hamdi Azzaro really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Riadh Ayari was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 88thth minute of the game Emir Benachour who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wooler's Riadh Ayari was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adel ibn Ali fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Riadh Ayari having to interfere. Riadh Ayari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adel ibn Ali in the 92nd minute of play.
