After a defensive mix-up in Cowley FC's zone, Bechir Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaouhar Gharbi came out of the goal and Bechir Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bechir Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jaouhar Gharbi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bechir Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 17 in the game by Taoufik Ghannouchi from a close distance when the talented Hedi Clayton managed to make a qualified save. Brierley Hill AFC's players were relieved. 19 minutes into the match, Cowley FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jean Slimane came free, but Jaouhar Gharbi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Mohamed Mouaia Ishola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Imed Ben Arfa hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Taoufik Ghannouchi in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hedi Clayton, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Mohamed Mouaia Ishola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Hedi Clayton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 28 played minutes Brierley Hill AFC got a freekick which was hit by Imed Ben Arfa. Taoufik Ghannouchi succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 29th playminute. If Taoufik Ghannouchi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jean Slimane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaouhar Gharbi having to interfere. Jaouhar Gharbi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bechir Santos in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Hamed Braiek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the game, Jean Slimane cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Jaouhar Gharbi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Taoufik Ghannouchi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hedi Clayton having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jean Slimane stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Taoufik Ghannouchi notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Brierley Hill AFC's Hedi Clayton. Hedi Clayton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cowley FC's Taoufik Ghannouchi got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 59 played minutes Brierley Hill AFC got a freekick which was hit by Hédi Mkacher. Jean Slimane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 65 played minutes Cowley FC got a freekick which was hit by Chedly Naoui. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Jaouhar Gharbi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jean Slimane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, Taoufik Ghannouchi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jaouhar Gharbi made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Bechir Santos sent off a good shot on target. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Mohamed Mouaia Ishola sped through Brierley Hill AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hedi Clayton. A collision led to Cowley FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Mohamed Mouaia Ishola hit a great ball. In the 84th match minute, Brierley Hill AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hédi Mkacher to maneuver through the defense. Jaouhar Gharbi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean Slimane in the 88th minute of play. In the 94th minute Hamed Braiek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hedi Clayton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cowley FC had won after a very even match.
