The referee ignored Herne Bay's protests and gave Ali Ouakili a yellow card for diving instead. Abdallah Mnari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Lassaad Lamouchi managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Herne Bay's Muhammad Ghodbane fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Ali Miaâdi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Truro's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Miaâdi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mohamed Benachour breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 21 played minutes Herne Bay got a freekick which was hit by Alaeddine Ayari. After recieving a nice pass, Truro's Nejib Jemaiel tried to score from far away in the 22nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Mohamed Benachour took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Miaâdi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Herne Bay booed when Truro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nejib Jemaiel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute Ali Miaâdi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohamed Benachour saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Muhammad Ghodbane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ben M'hadhebi during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Abdallah Mnari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Lassaad Lamouchi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 39 minutes, Ali Miaâdi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Truro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Miaâdi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ali Miaâdi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Herne Bay's zone, Ali Miaâdi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mohamed Benachour came out of the goal and Ali Miaâdi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adel Ali Bourguiba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Mohamed Benachour made a huge save. If Abdallah Mnari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, Herne Bay's goalkeeper Mohamed Benachour had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adel Ali Bourguiba. In the 65th minute, Karim Sayah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Muhammad Ghodbane blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lassaad Lamouchi having to make a save. Ali Zouari kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Abdallah Mnari ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lassaad Lamouchi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Adel Ali Bourguiba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mohamed Benachour having to make a save. The Truro players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Herne Bay from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
