Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hedi Kalaï took the kick off in the first half of the match. Atef Sfar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 4th minute, Alaeddine Srarfi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atef Sfar might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mohamed Mouelhi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Atef Sfar ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 13th minute, Atef Sfar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 14 played minutes Rugby got a freekick which was hit by Jemeleddine Kasraoui. Atef Sfar struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Mohamed Mouelhi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cove. Hamed Saidi hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jamel Bouazizi in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ibrahim Benzekri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cove's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hatem Braiek was slow to take the kick. During this time Rugby's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Hatem Braiek almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cove's Ibrahim Benzekri did a great save. 25 minutes into the match, Cove's goal looked a bit too open when Hamed Negrouz came free, but Ibrahim Benzekri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, Jamel Bouazizi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ibrahim Benzekri was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 30th minute, Cove's Hedi Kalaï ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mohamed Mouelhi. Mohamed Mouelhi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Ibrahim Benzekri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jamel Bouazizi in the 40th minute of the match. Hedi Kalaï struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Mohamed Mouelhi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cove. Mohamed Mouelhi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hedi Kalaï in the 44th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cove's Néji Radhouani got a free kick in the 47th minute.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jamel Bouazizi made a kick off. Mohamed Mouelhi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atef Sfar in the 54th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Jamel Bouazizi put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ibrahim Benzekri . If Atef Sfar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, Rugby's goal looked a bit too open when Hedi Kalaï came free, but Mohamed Mouelhi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jamel Bouazizi in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ibrahim Benzekri saved Cove from getting behind. Fathi Mahouachi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Jamel Bouazizi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ibrahim Benzekri was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. In the 94th minute Jamel Bouazizi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ibrahim Benzekri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jamel Bouazizi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ibrahim Benzekri came out and tried to block the shot, but Jamel Bouazizi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 99th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Rugby had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
