Borhene Karoui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 18 played minutes Hayling Island got a freekick which was hit by Ali Ben Fadhel. Borhene Karoui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamed Basli in the 19th minute of the match. If Mohamed Bargawi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Hayling Island defense, Taieb Limam kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Borhene Karoui. The Hayling Island fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Borhene Karoui should have stopped the shot. In the 38th minute, Mohamed Bargawi made a precise shot to the right of Mohamed Saïdi. Accrington's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 42nd minute Hamed Basli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borhene Karoui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alaeddine Dali sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mohamed Saïdi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mohamed Bargawi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 46 minute of play.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Alaeddine Dali in the 72nd minute of play forced Accrington's goalkeeper Mohamed Saïdi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute Mohamed Bargawi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohamed Saïdi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hamed Saïdi hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Mohamed Saïdi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohamed Bargawi in the 76th minute of play. If Hamed Basli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hamed Basli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mohamed Saïdi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohamed Bargawi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mohamed Bargawi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hamed Saïdi kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute Alaeddine Dali shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohamed Saïdi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Hayling Island booed when Accrington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adel Trabelsi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mohamed Bargawi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamed Saïdi having to interfere. Hayling Island walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
