It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 19th minute, but Mohamed Ali Souayati got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Horncastle hanging dry this time. Horncastle's Mohamed Ali Souayati played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anis Ben Ammar in the 20th minute of play. In the 25th match minute, Royston was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lotfi Saada to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, Sami Chaldun sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Royston's Chaker Trabelsi didn't even have to move. When Adel Merdassi fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Royston's protests and gave Adel Merdassi a yellow card for diving instead. Adel Merdassi kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Radhi Ghodhbane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chaker Trabelsi having to interfere. Anouar Saada took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chaker Trabelsi. Chaker Trabelsi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Said Ben Bargougui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Mohamed Ali Souayati tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Royston players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Horncastle were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anouar Saada was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Royston getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Lotfi Saada hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Anouar Saada put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Chaker Trabelsi. After 61 played minutes Anouar Saada rounded Royston's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Riadh Sassi during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Riadh Sassi kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Sami Chaldun got in the 66th minute the ball and tried a long shot which scored to the left of Chaker Trabelsi and thus it was 0-4. In the 73rd match minute, Horncastle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fahed Baly to maneuver through the defense. Anis Ben Ammar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Mohamed Ali Souayati tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Said Ben Bargougui scored 1-4 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mohamed Ali Souayati , who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 85th minute Anis Ben Ammar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohamed Ali Souayati saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Radhi Ghodhbane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chaker Trabelsi having to interfere. Ammar Nafti's late challenge caught a Royston's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ammar Nafti helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Said Ben Bargougui managed to get in a good position for a shot. Royston's supporters rose to their feet, but Said Ben Bargougui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mohamed Ali Souayati breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Horncastle's Ammar Nafti got a free kick in the 97th minute. In the 98th minute of the match Adel Merdassi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mohamed Ali Souayati skillfully saved the ball. The Royston supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Horncastle's performance. The match ended with a win for Horncastle.
