Salah Trabelsi came out of the goal and Said Ben Bargougui tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45thth minute of the game Said Ben Bargougui who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Woodchurch's Salah Trabelsi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anis Ben Ammar in the 47th minute of play forced Woodchurch's goalkeeper Salah Trabelsi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anis Ben Ammar was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anis Ben Ammar in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Salah Trabelsi saved Woodchurch from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Habib Yahia put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Chaker Trabelsi. 60 minutes into the game, Haykel Neifar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Chaker Trabelsi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Said Ben Bargougui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Habib Yahia couldn't finish the play. Chaker Trabelsi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Habib Yahia's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Ziad Korbi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sami Mzoughi charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sami Mzoughi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 82nd minute, Sami Mzoughi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Royston getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Sami Mzoughi hit a great ball. Woodchurch's Habib Yahia managed to work through Royston's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Habib Yahia dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After 87 played minutes Royston got a freekick which was hit by Sami Mzoughi. Chaker Trabelsi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Haykel Neifar's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Woodchurch's Haykel Neifar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chaker Trabelsi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Royston's Sami Mzoughi got a free kick in the 96th minute. Woodchurch's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
