The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Shuaibu Chérif got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ahmed Ayari stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Shuaibu Chérif's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Hedi Melliti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hamza Kallel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bahi Ayari in the 13th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Whitehaven's Bahi Ayari ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hamza Kallel. Hamza Kallel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Shuaibu Chérif recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Shuaibu Chérif fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmed Ayari having to interfere. Hamza Kallel made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Hedi Melliti sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Whitehaven getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Maher Ghigani hit a great ball. Hedi Jaballah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Ahmed Ayari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mohamed Khemili hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Bahi Ayari struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Hamza Kallel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Whitehaven. 48 minutes into the match, Ramsey AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Bahi Ayari came free, but Hamza Kallel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hedi Jaballah stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Shuaibu Chérif could shoot a difficult shot in the 54th minute, which Ahmed Ayari however easily saved by the left post. In the 57th minute, one of Whitehaven:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Whitehaven. Fathi Nefzi hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Hedi Melliti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamza Kallel having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Whitehaven's goal looked a bit too open when Hedi Jaballah came free, but Ahmed Ayari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd of the match, Hedi Jaballah tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Ahmed Ayari got in the way and made a wonderful save. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ramsey AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ayèche Ben Hicheri was slow to take the kick. During this time Whitehaven's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bahi Ayari in the 93rd minute of play forced Ramsey AFC's goalkeeper Hamza Kallel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
