Elsdon United were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Dunstable's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mohamed Saidi took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Hédi Ben Doulet heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 11thth minute of the game Salah Belhaj Benachour who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dunstable's Ali Braham was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 16th minute, Montassar Mzali got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Dunstable defense, Adel Ouakili kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ali Braham. The Dunstable fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ali Braham should have stopped the shot. If Adel Ouakili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Elsdon United booed when Dunstable was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tarak Makhlouf didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adel Ouakili took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ali Braham. Ali Braham dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Adel Ouakili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the game, Elsdon United's Adel Ouakili nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ali Braham made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tarak Makhlouf during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Elsdon United booed when Dunstable was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tarak Makhlouf didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute Adel Ouakili shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Braham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Ali Mestiri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Elsdon United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dunstable the free kick. In the 44th minute, Ali Mestiri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Salah Belhaj Benachour was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes, Elsdon United's Mohamed Saidi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ali Braham came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Elsdon United reached it. Ali Mestiri was shown his second yellow card after 55 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 55 played minutes Elsdon United got a freekick which was hit by Ali Mestiri. Elsdon United's Abdallah Essafi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Montassar Mzali in the 56th minute of play. Abdallah Essafi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mohamed Braham, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Ali Braham made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Adel Ouakili sent off a good shot on target. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Adel Ouakili got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Mohamed Braham's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abdallah Essafi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Abdallah Essafi came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Dunstable's Montassar Mzali. But to his dismay, Montassar Mzali quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 78 minutes into the game, Adel Ouakili lined in a short shot 1-4 behind a frustrated Ali Braham. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohamed Braham in the 82nd minute of play forced Elsdon United's goalkeeper Abdallah Essafi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sadok Jaziri charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sadok Jaziri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 85 played minutes Elsdon United got a freekick which was hit by Sadok Jaziri. Abdallah Essafi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Montassar Mzali, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Montassar Mzali sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Abdallah Essafi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mohamed Braham went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Dunstable's Montassar Mzali got a free kick in the 97th minute.
