Habib Hadda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ahmed Trabelsi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th match minute, Romsey AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alaeddine Belgacem to maneuver through the defense. Mohamed Ghariani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Dhafer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romsey AFC's Mohamed Ghariani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Dhafer in the 20th minute of play. Chokri Jelassi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ziad Jawachi having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Romsey AFC's Alaeddine Belgacem got a free kick in the 23rd minute. When Sowerby Bridge's Ali Dhafer in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Romsey AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 33rd minute, Chokri Jelassi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 35th minute, Ahmed Trabelsi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sowerby Bridge fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 55 minutes into the match, Romsey AFC's Habib Hadda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ziad Jawachi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karim Gabsi during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 58th minute, Karim Gabsi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chokri Jelassi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ziad Jawachi having to interfere. Chokri Jelassi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adel Amri hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. When Chokri Jelassi came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Romsey AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chokri Jelassi couldn't finish the play. Alaeddine Belgacem recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Romsey AFC's Habib Hadda in 89 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Ziad Jawachi guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After having played for 94 minutes, Habib Hadda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Romsey AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Habib Hadda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Although Romsey AFC had been in control for most of the match, Sowerby Bridge still came away with the win.
