The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mohamed Khalfaoui was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Abdelhamid Achour kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mohamed Salah Ben Loussayef. That made the score 0-2 in the 53 minute of play. St Austell City's Selim Limam got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mohamed Khalfaoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hocine Kasraoui having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in St Austell City's zone, Kamel M'hadhebi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hocine Kasraoui came out of the goal and Kamel M'hadhebi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Leighton Buzzard United booed when St Austell City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamza Aleya didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute of the match Adel Ghannem sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hocine Kasraoui skillfully saved the ball. After 79 played minutes St Austell City got a freekick which was hit by Selim Limam. In the 89th minute, Habib Ali Mustapha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hocine Kasraoui prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched St Austell City eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
