Thatto Heath's supporters rose to their feet, but Chaker Bourguiba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hedi Amira Yahia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hedi Amira Yahia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chaker Bourguiba in the 28th minute of play. Paris Saint Germain's Hedi Amira Yahia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khaled Mrabet in the 44th minute of play. In the 48th minute, Chaker Bourguiba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abdessalem Mnari to make the kick off. Paris Saint Germain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdessalem Mnari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 62 played minutes Thatto Heath got a freekick which was hit by Wissem Fitouri. Lassaad Boumnijel spun around in front of the goal 63 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Thatto Heath's goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lassaad Boumnijel in the 66th minute of play forced Thatto Heath's goalkeeper Abdelaziz Slimane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lassaad Boumnijel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adel Sebki during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Thatto Heath booed when Paris Saint Germain was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adel Sebki didn't get a good kick on the ball. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Thatto Heath would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
