Batley United's supporters rose to their feet, but Habib Gharbi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mohamed Tonniche breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Salah Karray struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Bulwell AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Batley United the free kick. After 53 played minutes Bulwell AFC got a freekick which was hit by Hedi Braiek. Mohamed Tonniche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Habib Gharbi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Habib Gharbi in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mohamed Tonniche saved Bulwell AFC from getting behind.
