In the 11th minute Zouheir Agrebi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zoubair El Ouaer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dhaker Hammami's late challenge caught a Cambridge United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dhaker Hammami helped the player get up and apologised. Dhaker Hammami hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Lassaad Bhar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Karim Abdelmajid. That made the score 1-0 in the 25 minute of play. In the 28th minute, Aymen Chérif hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amir Ghariani kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Karim Abdelmajid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lassaad Bhar, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 38th minute, Zouheir Agrebi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karim Abdelmajid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lassaad Bhar in the 47th minute of play. If Mohamed Ben Fadhel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mohamed Ben Fadhel in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karim Abdelmajid prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Ferndown United getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Sami Mestiri hit a great ball. Lassaad Bhar hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After having played for 56 minutes, Zouheir Agrebi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ferndown United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zouheir Agrebi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Cambridge United's Zoubair El Ouaer got control of the ball when Ali Arfa tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Zouheir Agrebi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zoubair El Ouaer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zouheir Agrebi's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Karim Abdelmajid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lassaad Bhar in the 64th minute of the match. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ferndown United's goalkeeper Karim Abdelmajid, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Karim Abdelmajid stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mohamed Ben Fadhel's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ferndown United fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 74th minute. Penalty! Ferndown United:s Karim Abdelmajid showed great skill when he stopped Chokri Namouchi:s penalty. Chokri Namouchi scored 2-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karim Abdelmajid, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Lassaad Bhar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cambridge United's supporters rose to their feet, but Lassaad Bhar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karim Abdelmajid breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Karim Abdelmajid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohamed Ben Fadhel in the 83rd minute of play. Lassaad Bhar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ferndown United's Sami Mestiri got a free kick in the 86th minute. Cambridge United's Mohamed Ben Fadhel got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Karim Abdelmajid didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mohamed Ben Fadhel went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Cambridge United's Zoubair El Ouaer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Cambridge United from getting a goal against them. Cambridge United were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ferndown United for a fine match.
