After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Hassen Haggui managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zouheir Jouili breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mongi Ghannem got free with Ahmed Ammar in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 31 minutes into the match, Blackpool AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Hassen Haggui came free, but Zouheir Jouili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahmed Ammar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mongi Ghannem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Blackpool AFC booed when Notting Hill Gate FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sabri Hleli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Heithem Jaidi was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 34th minute. Blackpool AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The audience was convinced that Heithem Jaidi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ahmed Ammar was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Heithem Jaidi made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Karim Karoui was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Notting Hill Gate FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blackpool AFC the free kick. Karim Karoui hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the match, Notting Hill Gate FC's goal looked a bit too open when Heithem Jaidi came free, but Ahmed Ammar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute, Sabri Hleli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 64 minutes of play Notting Hill Gate FC's Karim Karoui was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 63 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Notting Hill Gate FC! Ahmed Ammar went to the wrong direction when Abdelhamid Ben Amor was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Blackpool AFC's Mongi Ghannem got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abdallah Khayachi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Zouheir Jouili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 81 played minutes Notting Hill Gate FC got a freekick which was hit by Bechir Benzekri . Ahmed Ammar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mongi Ghannem in the 85th minute of the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
