After having played for 60 minutes, Sami Mellouli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wallington's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sami Mellouli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 62nd minute Boubaker Zaalani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moustafa Fergani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th match minute, Girton AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmed Kasraoui to maneuver through the defense. Zouheir Mkademi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmed Kasraoui in the 90th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute of the match Girton AFC got a corner. Wallington's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The corner led Girton AFC's Muhammad ibn Ali to fire away a dangerous shot which Zouheir Mkademi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Boubaker Zaalani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moustafa Fergani having to interfere.
