Spectators: 6762 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 0) Redcar FC's Habib Dhafer started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Habib Dhafer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hassene Ouertani hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Aymen Abdelmajid struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Salah Ghigani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Redcar FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Aymen Abdelmajid managed to get in a good position for a shot. Redcar FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aymen Abdelmajid was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Salah Ghigani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15th minute, Aymen Abdelmajid got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Redcar FC's Aymen Abdelmajid got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Cowes City fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Cowes City's Lassaad Mosrati looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Salah Ghigani came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Redcar FC's Habib Dhafer. But to his dismay, Habib Dhafer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Aymen Abdelmajid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Habib Dhafer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Salah Ghigani was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Hichem Abdelkader's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Khaled Achour read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Salah Ghigani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Habib Dhafer, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Redcar FC's Habib Dhafer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Salah Ghigani narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 37 minutes into the game, Dali Bensedrine was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cowes City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Redcar FC the free kick. Salah Ghigani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aymen Abdelmajid, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Habib Dhafer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salah Ghigani having to interfere. Blaise Badra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hichem Abdelkader was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes, Hichem Abdelkader made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Redcar FC's Khaled Achour tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Redcar FC's Karim Bargougui got a free kick in the 56th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aymen Abdelmajid got free with Salah Ghigani in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Hichem Abdelkader managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cowes City's supporters rose to their feet, but Hichem Abdelkader was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Khaled Achour breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mondher Khalifa kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Aymen Abdelmajid could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Salah Ghigani made a huge save. Khaled Achour came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Cowes City's Hichem Abdelkader. But to his dismay, Hichem Abdelkader quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. After a defensive mix-up in Cowes City's zone, Habib Dhafer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salah Ghigani came out of the goal and Habib Dhafer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Many of Redcar FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Redcar FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Cowes City were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
