The audience was convinced that Ayèche Ben Habib Benfrej's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Montassar Bouazizi was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Eltham AFC's Muhammad Akimi got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 44 minutes, Hamza Benzekri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Selsey AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hamza Benzekri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Abdelhamid Mokthar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Selsey AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdelhamid Mokthar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali al-Husain breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ayèche Ben Habib Benfrej struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Montassar Bouazizi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eltham AFC. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ayèche Ben Habib Benfrej made a kick off. Dhaker Chimane hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Eltham AFC's Noureddine Belkhodja tried to score from far away in the 53rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Selsey AFC's Hamza Benzekri dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. After having played for 68 minutes, Abdelhamid Mokthar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Selsey AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdelhamid Mokthar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Eltham AFC booed when Selsey AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamed Mabrouki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Muhammad Akimi took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Montassar Bouazizi. Montassar Bouazizi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Montassar Bouazizi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ayèche Ben Habib Benfrej, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Montassar Bouazizi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ayèche Ben Habib Benfrej, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abdelhamid Mokthar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali al-Husain having to interfere. If Hamza Benzekri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Muhammad Akimi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Montassar Bouazizi having to make a save.
