Riadh El Ouaer took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ali al-Husain. Ali al-Husain dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 24 minutes into the match, Pickering's goal looked a bit too open when Ayèche Ben Habib Benfrej came free, but Moustapha Badra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Eltham AFC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Ali Akimi hit a great ball. Chaouki Saidi charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chaouki Saidi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd match minute, Eltham AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chaouki Saidi to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Muhammad Akimi got free with Moustapha Badra in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th minute José Karray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali al-Husain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ayèche Ben Habib Benfrej stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Riadh El Ouaer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57th minute, Zoubeir Jaidi sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Eltham AFC's Ali al-Husain didn't even have to move. In the 60th match minute, Pickering was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Habib Baccouche to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 64 minutes, Riadh El Ouaer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pickering's supporters crossed their fingers, but Riadh El Ouaer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 65th match minute, Eltham AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Muhammad Akimi to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Pickering's Sabri Boularès got a free kick in the 69th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pickering's zone, Muhammad Akimi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moustapha Badra came out of the goal and Muhammad Akimi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Riadh El Ouaer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Eltham AFC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Ahmed Habib Benfrej hit a great ball. 87 minutes into the game, Mohamed Cherni recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ali al-Husain. Mohamed Cherni showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. If José Karray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. Pickering's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
