The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bechir Bhar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amira Ben Saada went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Amira Ben Saada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Bechir Bhar made a huge save. A collision led to Leytonstone AFC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Rachid Fergani hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Taieb Kadri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stockport's supporters rose to their feet, but Taieb Kadri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mohamed Zahani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 42 minutes into the game, Taoufik Ghigani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stockport's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leytonstone AFC the free kick. The supporters of Leytonstone AFC booed when Stockport was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Taoufik Ghigani didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Hamdi Chedli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Taieb Kadri to make the kick off. If Hamdi Chedli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bechir Bhar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Habib Attouga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on Stockport's corner Karim Bargawi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mohamed Zahani quite easily take care of the ball. Mohamed Zahani made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Hamdi Chedli sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Hamdi Chedli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stockport's supporters rose to their feet, but Hamdi Chedli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mohamed Zahani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hassen Salah kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match.
