Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Hassine Mourali made the kick off which started today's match. Habib Zouiten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Riadh Karoui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mohamed Abdi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michel Chiki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Habib Zouiten came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Curdridge's Hassine Mourali. But to his dismay, Hassine Mourali quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hassine Mourali in the 14th minute of play forced Openshaw United's goalkeeper Habib Zouiten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mohamed Abdi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Michel Chiki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Mohamed Abdi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Michel Chiki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sofiene Clayton in the 19th minute of the match. Hassine Mourali fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Habib Zouiten having to interfere. A collision led to Openshaw United getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Mohamed Cherif hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, Openshaw United's Mohamed Abdi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michel Chiki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Openshaw United's Sofiene Clayton slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Michel Chiki . That made the score 1-1 after 30 minutes of play. In the 33rd minute Sofiene Clayton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel Chiki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Habib Zouiten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Riadh Karoui in the 36th minute of the match. Brahim Ayari charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brahim Ayari the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Brahim Ayari kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Sofiene Clayton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Michel Chiki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mohamed Abdi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Michel Chiki when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 47 minutes into the match, Curdridge's goal looked a bit too open when Sofiene Clayton came free, but Michel Chiki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Sofiene Clayton made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Openshaw United booed when Curdridge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohamed Rehouma didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Mohamed Abdi sped through Curdridge's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Michel Chiki . Hedi Mestiri hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Michel Chiki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chaker Soussia in the 63rd minute of play. Michel Chiki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sofiene Clayton in the 65th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohamed Abdi in the 69th minute of play forced Curdridge's goalkeeper Michel Chiki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Curdridge getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Habib Jawachi hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hassine Mourali in the 77th minute of play forced Openshaw United's goalkeeper Habib Zouiten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Openshaw United's Sofiene Clayton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Michel Chiki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 86th match minute, Openshaw United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mohamad Boumnijel to maneuver through the defense. If Sofiene Clayton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Openshaw United fans cheered their team off the field, for while Curdridge had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
