Riadh Chaldun kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 8th minute Walid Ben Doulet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anouar Ghannouchi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hucknall's Walid Ben Doulet got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anouar Ghannouchi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karim Sallemi in the 14th minute. Houcine M'henni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mohamed Chikhaoui's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Mahmoud Zitouni took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Houcine M'henni. Hucknall's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Walid Ben Doulet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hucknall's supporters rose to their feet, but Walid Ben Doulet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anouar Ghannouchi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mohamed Salah Sassi kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mohamed Chikhaoui stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anouar Ghannouchi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walid Ben Doulet in the 54th minute of play. Karim Sallemi struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Anouar Ghannouchi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hucknall. In the 60th minute Walid Ben Doulet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anouar Ghannouchi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karim Sallemi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Anouar Ghannouchi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65thth minute of the game Walid Ben Doulet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Watford's Anouar Ghannouchi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Khaled Belgacem fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Watford's protests and gave Khaled Belgacem a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walid Ben Doulet in the 68th minute of play forced Watford's goalkeeper Anouar Ghannouchi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 70 played minutes, Hucknall's Driss Braham shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Anouar Ghannouchi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hucknall reached it. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Watford's goalkeeper Anouar Ghannouchi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Watford's Anouar Ghannouchi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walid Ben Doulet in the 88th minute of play. When Ben Kerrit fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Watford's protests and gave Ben Kerrit a yellow card for diving instead. 97 minutes into the game, Hucknall's Karim Sallemi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anouar Ghannouchi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Hucknall fans cheered their team off the field, for while Watford had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
