The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Andrézinho Santos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Haroune Ghodhbane read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. When Michel Achab fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Launceston AFC's protests and gave Michel Achab a yellow card for diving instead. Michel Achab hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Andrézinho Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Haroune Ghodhbane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute of the match, Ali Benzekri tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zoubeir Sélim Haj Ali saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 32 played minutes Launceston AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Ben Massaoud. 43 minutes into the match, Mohieddine Ghannouchi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zoubeir Sélim Haj Ali. CLUBISTIANO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mohieddine Ghannouchi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Launceston AFC were furious when Hamdi Jaziri was red carded, 56 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The goalkeeper, Haroune Ghodhbane, was totally fooled by CLUBISTIANO's Laamari Bourguiba, who 59 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Hamza Sellami kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Launceston AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Andrézinho Santos came free, but Haroune Ghodhbane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Launceston AFC's goalkeeper Haroune Ghodhbane had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrézinho Santos. If Andrézinho Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Andrézinho Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot. CLUBISTIANO's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrézinho Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 73rd minute Mohieddine Ghannouchi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zoubeir Sélim Haj Ali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CLUBISTIANO's Andrézinho Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Montassar Agrebi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CLUBISTIANO played a much better game than Launceston AFC and deserved their victory. The Launceston AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
