Ahmed Hedi Jedidi took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hedi Limam. Hedi Limam dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Mohamed Zaalani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Chaldun in the 10th minute of the match. Hassib Hammami received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Mohamed Zaalani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ali Chaldun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hedi Limam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmed Hedi Jedidi in the 22nd minute of play. Ali Chaldun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Mohamed Zaalani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Ellesmere Port City booed when Frinton City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Muhammad Bouchrara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mohamed Zaalani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Chaldun, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Ahmed Hedi Jedidi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hedi Limam having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Frinton City's zone, Hassib Hammami stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mohamed Zaalani came out of the goal and Hassib Hammami tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Majed Ben Korbi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Hedi Limam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Majed Ben Korbi during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Frinton City getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Majed Ben Korbi hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ali Chaldun to strike the kick off in the second half. If Ahmed Hedi Jedidi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hedi Limam didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Majed Ben Korbi went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score.
