An unexpectedly hard shot by Hatem Jaziri in the 31st minute of play forced Market Harborough's goalkeeper Karim Ali Bourguiba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hadj Salem Bejaoui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdelkarim Sellimi in the 42nd minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When Adel Jazi came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Market Harborough fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adel Jazi couldn't finish the play. Hatem Jaziri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Karim Ali Bourguiba made a huge save. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Watford's goalkeeper Hadj Salem Bejaoui, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Abdelkarim Sellimi struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Hadj Salem Bejaoui didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Market Harborough. A collision led to Watford getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Hassan Sfar hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Abdelkarim Sellimi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hadj Salem Bejaoui was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. In the 90th minute Amine Kalaï shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karim Ali Bourguiba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdelkarim Sellimi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hadj Salem Bejaoui read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play.
