The Immingham City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zoubeir Saber should have stopped the shot. When Bernard Hadrioui fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Mourad Mnari showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 48 minutes into the game, Immingham City's Slaheddine Zouaoui nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adel Ouertani made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
The wind increased when Mourad Mnari made the kick off in the second half. Slaheddine Zouaoui in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Adel Ouertani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Immingham City.
