The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Muhammad Mkacher, 21 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Fraj Baly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Muhammad Mkacher hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Riadh Mestiri scored 1-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Muhammad Jemmali, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hedhili David took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kamel Sellimi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Fraj Baly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kamel Sellimi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Hedhili David tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hedhili David didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fraj Baly went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Hedhili David took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kamel Sellimi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Riadh Mestiri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Muhammad Jemmali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A beautiful save bye Didcot AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Kamel Sellimi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Hedhili David made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Muhammad Mkacher during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 74 played minutes Didcot AFC got a freekick which was hit by Muhammad Mkacher. In the 78th minute, Fatah Zaalani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kamel Sellimi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Olympique Mahdia's Riadh Mestiri got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aymen Merdassi took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Muhammad Jemmali. Muhammad Jemmali dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Fraj Baly's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Hedhili David skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Hedhili David made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Kamel Sellimi sent off a good shot on target. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
