When Olympique Mahdia's Aymen Merdassi in 21 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Sofiene Hadda guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jalel Morjane in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hedhili David saved Olympique Mahdia from getting behind. Abdallah Ziadi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hedhili David having to interfere. 48 minutes into the game, one of Olympique Mahdia:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Reigate a penalty, 49 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Wissem Ben El Naili, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Olympique Mahdia's Hedhili David. 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aymen Merdassi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Reigate's Jalel Morjane got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Reigate's zone, Aymen Merdassi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sofiene Hadda came out of the goal and Aymen Merdassi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Akram Ali Riza's late challenge caught a Olympique Mahdia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Akram Ali Riza helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Reigate fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! Hedhili David showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jalel Morjane, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aymen Merdassi in the 78th minute of play forced Reigate's goalkeeper Sofiene Hadda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Reigate booed when Olympique Mahdia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fatah Cherif didn't get a good kick on the ball.
