Mohamed Ali Nafti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Karim Jaziri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pierre Ben Dhia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 18 played minutes Chudleigh got a freekick which was hit by Férid Ben Soliman. 24 minutes into the match, Pierre Ben Dhia notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Bognor Regis United's Karim Jaziri. Karim Jaziri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. It was beautiful to see Bognor Regis United's Aziz Bourguiba in action when he in the 29th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! If Issam Bouzaiene had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Chudleigh booed when Bognor Regis United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Ali Bourguiba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rachid Bourguiba, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Karim Jaziri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mohamed Ali Nafti's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of Chudleigh:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bognor Regis United:s goal. In the 44th minute there was a penalty for Bognor Regis United. Aziz Bourguiba stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jean Ben Doulet. 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Mohamed Ali Nafti made the kick off in the second half. Karim Jaziri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohamed Ali Nafti in the 53rd minute of the match. Pierre Ben Dhia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karim Jaziri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Bognor Regis United's zone, Mohamed Ali Nafti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karim Jaziri came out of the goal and Mohamed Ali Nafti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Bognor Regis United defense, Pierre Ben Dhia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karim Jaziri. The Bognor Regis United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karim Jaziri should have stopped the shot. 67 minutes into the game, Khaled Mzali was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chudleigh's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bognor Regis United the free kick. The supporters of Bognor Regis United booed when Chudleigh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Khaled Mzali didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmed Kasraoui's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jean Ben Doulet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. The referee ignored Chudleigh's protests and gave Férid Ben Soliman a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th minute, Férid Ben Soliman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th match minute, Bognor Regis United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Issam Bouzaiene to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bognor Regis United's goalkeeper Karim Jaziri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Karim Jaziri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohamed Ali Nafti in the 81st minute of play. Jean Ben Doulet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohieddine Karray in the 85th minute of play. Bognor Regis United's Mohieddine Karray got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pierre Ben Dhia who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Karim Jaziri when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
