In the 13th minute Emir Akimi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ziad Haggui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raouf Yahia's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Ziad Haggui skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raouf Yahia got free with Ziad Haggui in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38thth minute of the game Tarek Bachraoui who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kennington FC's Brahim Bourguiba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ziad Haggui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emir Akimi , who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 46thth minute of the game Emir Akimi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Margate's Ziad Haggui was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emir Akimi made a kick off. Brahim Bourguiba yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. If Raouf Yahia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emir Akimi struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Ziad Haggui didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kennington FC. Emir Akimi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Ziad Haggui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Tarek Bachraoui came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Margate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tarek Bachraoui couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Kennington FC's Najeh Sellami got a free kick in the 75th minute. Ziad Haggui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emir Akimi , even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 81 minutes, Emir Akimi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kennington FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emir Akimi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Kennington FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Fethi Jennet hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Kennington FC's zone, Issam Jawachi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brahim Bourguiba came out of the goal and Issam Jawachi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Margate getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Jamel Chikhaoui hit a great ball. When Emir Akimi came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Kennington FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emir Akimi couldn't finish the play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
