Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mourad Mosrati kicked off to start the match. Mourad Mosrati sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 14 minutes into the game, Hedi Chikhaoui was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Taverham's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kingswear the free kick. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Taverham! Houcine Chiki placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Hamza Chérif took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmad Trabelsi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute Ahmad Trabelsi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamza Chérif saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Kingswear booed when Taverham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaies BenAmor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anis Eyadema showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mourad Mosrati, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After 31 played minutes Taverham got a freekick which was hit by Tahar Chiboub. Jaouhar Zitouni hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Tahar Chiboub fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamza Chérif having to interfere. 48 minutes into the match, Taverham's Ahmad Trabelsi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hamza Chérif narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ahmad Trabelsi was the one to do the kick off. Taverham's Anis Eyadema proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Taverham from getting a goal against them. 59 minutes into the game, one of Kingswear:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Ahmad Trabelsi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Kingswear's Hassene Miaâdi got a free kick in the 76th minute. After some careless play in the Kingswear defense, Ahmad Trabelsi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hamza Chérif. The Kingswear fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hamza Chérif should have stopped the shot. Ahmad Trabelsi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Hamza Chérif tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmad Trabelsi in the 92nd minute of play forced Kingswear's goalkeeper Hamza Chérif to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Taverham's Tahar Chiboub got a free kick in the 94th minute. Kingswear's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
