A very good chance. 4 minutes into the match, Rainhill FC's goal looked a bit too open when Habib Saidi came free, but Paulo Yahia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mohamed Braiek in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Yahia saved Rainhill FC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Mohamed Braiek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malton AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mohamed Braiek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Yahia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Rainhill FC's zone, Mohamed Braiek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Yahia came out of the goal and Mohamed Braiek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Habib Saidi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adel Saïdi kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Mohamed Braiek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohamed Braiek in the 32nd minute of play forced Rainhill FC's goalkeeper Paulo Yahia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adel Saïdi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Moustafa Abdelkader received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Abdelwahab Lamouchi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moustafa Abdelkader fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdelwahab Lamouchi having to interfere. Adel Saïdis short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Abdelwahab Lamouchi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Abdelwahab Lamouchi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anis Nefzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mohamed Braiek was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th minute Mohamed Braiek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Yahia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Rainhill FC's Adel Saïdi in 63 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Abdelwahab Lamouchi guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. A collision led to Malton AFC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Taieb Sayah hit a great ball. Abdelwahab Lamouchi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adel Saïdi went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Abdelwahab Lamouchi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adel Saïdi in the 68th minute of play. If Mohamed Braiek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moustafa Abdelkader took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abdelwahab Lamouchi. Abdelwahab Lamouchi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adel Saïdi in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abdelwahab Lamouchi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adel Saïdi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Abdelwahab Lamouchi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdelwahab Lamouchi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adel Saïdi in the 97th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Rainhill FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Malton AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
