Spectators: 6746 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1746, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mourad Karel kicked off to start the match. After 5 minutes of play, Selsey City's Haythem Chiboub made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Muhammad Ayari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mourad Karel in the 16th minute of play. Mokhtar Jamaa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Haythem Chiboub in the 21st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Jean Ouakili managed to get in a good position for a shot. Southampton's supporters rose to their feet, but Jean Ouakili was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Muhammad Ayari breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Haythem Chiboub succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 25th playminute. Muhammad Ayari was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Lotfi Melliti made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mourad Karel in the 54th minute of play forced Selsey City's goalkeeper Muhammad Ayari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mokhtar Jamaa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lotfi Melliti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 58 minutes, Hatem Ghodbane mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Selsey City and the Southampton players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jean Ouakili got in the 63rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Muhammad Ayari handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Mokhtar Jamaa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lotfi Melliti, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After 66 played minutes Southampton got a freekick which was hit by Bechir Belgacem. After a rather tough play, Selsey City's Achraf Dhafer got a free kick in the 83rd minute. 89 minutes into the game, Mohamed Meriah was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
