Spectators: 6752 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1752, VIP seats: 0) Berkhamsted City's Fethi Melki started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Helmi Sioud in the 4th minute of play forced Berkhamsted City's goalkeeper Hédi Nefzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Tarak Sfar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hédi Nefzi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 15th play minutes Ghazi Ayed shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Lofti Nouira and just under the crossbar into goal. Helmi Sioud's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hédi Nefzi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Lofti Nouira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fethi Melki in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Smisby's goal looked a bit too open when Fethi Melki came free, but Lofti Nouira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 26 minutes, Ghazi Ayed mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Berkhamsted City and the Smisby players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Smisby booed when Berkhamsted City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ghazi Ayed didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hédi Nefzi acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 27th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Laaroussi Essebsi. 32 minutes into the match, Fethi Melki notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Smisby's Lofti Nouira. Lofti Nouira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ben Mor hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After 38 minutes, Ziad Sfar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Smisby and the Berkhamsted City players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Fethi Melki came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Berkhamsted City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fethi Melki couldn't finish the play. Hédi Nefzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Helmi Sioud in the 42nd minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Helmi Sioud was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Smisby getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Walid Mrabet hit a great ball. In the 54th minute, Néji Mhedhebi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Berkhamsted City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Néji Mhedhebi struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Lofti Nouira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Berkhamsted City. 64 minutes into the match, Smisby's goalkeeper Lofti Nouira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Néji Mhedhebi. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fethi Melki in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lofti Nouira saved Smisby from getting behind. Hédi Nefzi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Helmi Sioud's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Berkhamsted City's Ghazi Ayed got his second yellow card of the match in the 76th minute. The referee ordered Ghazi Ayed off the ground. In the 76th minute, Ghazi Ayed hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute of the match Laaroussi Essebsi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hédi Nefzi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Helmi Sioud recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Habib Benslimane charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Habib Benslimane the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Smisby's Tarak Sfar got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Habib Benslimane got his second yellow card in the match during the 92nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 93 played minutes Berkhamsted City got a freekick which was hit by Habib Benslimane . An unexpectedly hard shot by Tarak Sfar in the 95th minute of play forced Berkhamsted City's goalkeeper Hédi Nefzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Berkhamsted City walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
