Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chokri Mzoughi in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Med Ben Ammar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wissem al-Husain during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wissem al-Husain kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. A collision led to North Baddesley getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Ahmed Trabelsi hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdessalem Saïdi in the 12th minute of play forced North Baddesley's goalkeeper Med Ben Ammar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abdessalem Saïdi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Med Ben Ammar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind North Baddesley's goalkeeper Med Ben Ammar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 15th match minute, North Baddesley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nejib Ben Fadhel to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mohamed Ayari during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Abdessalem Saïdi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Med Ben Ammar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, North Baddesley's goal looked a bit too open when Chokri Mzoughi came free, but Med Ben Ammar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute of the match Hassan Namouchi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Med Ben Ammar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Abdessalem Saïdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Med Ben Ammar having to interfere. Chokri Mzoughi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Med Ben Ammar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chokri Mzoughi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abdessalem Saïdi got free with Med Ben Ammar in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 61 played minutes South Benfleet got a freekick which was hit by Gösta Nyman. North Baddesley's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Chokri Mzoughi scored to the left of an out of position Med Ben Ammar, making the score, 1-1. Abdessalem Saïdi might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Med Ben Ammar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abdessalem Saïdi ran back to his position shaking his head. North Baddesley's Med Ben Ammar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chokri Mzoughi in the 79th minute of play. Róbert Čuntala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dali Melliti, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Abdessalem Saïdi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Med Ben Ammar having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chokri Mzoughi in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Med Ben Ammar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chokri Mzoughi might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Med Ben Ammar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chokri Mzoughi ran back to his position shaking his head. Med Ben Ammar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chokri Mzoughi in the 91st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chokri Mzoughi in the 92nd minute of play forced North Baddesley's goalkeeper Med Ben Ammar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abdessalem Saïdi struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Med Ben Ammar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for South Benfleet. The long shot by Hassan Namouchi in the 98th minute really tested Med Ben Ammar's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.
