Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Slaheddine Jendoubi made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute Mohamed Abdallah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yassine Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ghazi Khcharem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Yassine Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Slaheddine Jendoubi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute, Ghazi Khcharem left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alresford fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Yassine Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hassene Haithem in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of Alresford booed when New Brighton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmed Agrebi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in New Brighton's zone, Ghazi Khcharem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yassine Santos came out of the goal and Ghazi Khcharem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 27 minutes of play, Alresford's Hassene Haithem made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yassine Santos was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 34 minutes, Imed Brahem mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the New Brighton and the Alresford players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for New Brighton! In the 38th minute, Hassene Haithem got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ismail Majeri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ayèche Sanchou having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Slaheddine Jendoubi in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ayèche Sanchou saved Alresford from getting behind.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ghazi Khcharem was the one to do the kick off. Ayèche Sanchou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Slaheddine Jendoubi in the 67th minute of the match. Hassene Haithem scored 1-4 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yassine Santos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sahbi Ben Sboui hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Ahmed Agrebi hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Yassine Santos came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Alresford's Hassene Haithem. But to his dismay, Hassene Haithem quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Ismail Majeri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
