The supporters of Skipton booed when Selsey City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mongi Achour didn't get a good kick on the ball. Skipton's Mohamed Mokadem couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 9th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Selsey City. After 11th play minutes Emir Haj Boukorâa shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Faouzi Essafi and just under the crossbar into goal. After 16 played minutes Selsey City got a freekick which was hit by Ammar Meriah. Adel Trabelsi spun around in front of the goal 17 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Selsey City's goal. Anis Ishola charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anis Ishola the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Selsey City's Anis Ishola got a free kick in the 19th minute. Chokri Mzoughi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faouzi Essafi having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emir Haj Boukorâa in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Faouzi Essafi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Karim Fitouri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamed Salem having to interfere. Chokri Mzoughi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faouzi Essafi having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Mourad Ben Dhia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chokri Mzoughi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emir Haj Boukorâa to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, one of Skipton:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Skipton. When the match had been going on for 53 minutes, Selsey City's Ammar M'hadhebi got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Faouzi Essafi. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jose Rzouga in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mohamed Salem saved Selsey City from getting behind. If Adel Trabelsi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adel Trabelsi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamed Salem having to interfere. Mohamed Salem stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karim Fitouri's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. The supporters of Skipton booed when Selsey City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mongi Achour didn't get a good kick on the ball. Selsey City's Emir Haj Boukorâa got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 87 minutes, Chokri Mzoughi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Selsey City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chokri Mzoughi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Karim Fitouri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Selsey City supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Selsey City would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
