Spectators: 6722 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 0) Bechir Belgacem started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpected shot in the 6th minute by Hamdi Namouchi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Mounir Ouertani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bechir Belgacem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Whitchurch City's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lassaad Gharbi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lassaad Gharbi got free with Ahmed Karray in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mounir Ouertani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bechir Belgacem in the 46th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the match, Whitchurch City's goalkeeper Ahmed Karray had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lassaad Gharbi. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

52 minutes into the match, Whitchurch City's goal looked a bit too open when Hamdi Namouchi came free, but Ahmed Karray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Noureddine Saidi kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Mohamed Salah Slimane's late challenge caught a Whitchurch City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mohamed Salah Slimane helped the player get up and apologised. Whitchurch City's Ahmed Karray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamdi Namouchi in the 62nd minute of play. If Bechir Belgacem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mounir Ouertani made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Noureddine Saidi sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 84 minutes, Bechir Belgacem managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Whitchurch City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bechir Belgacem was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tahar Ben Achab recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Etoile Du Sahel getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Hocine Bouchrara hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Bechir Belgacem kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mounir Ouertani. That made the score 0-1 in the 89 minute of play. Ahmed Karray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamdi Namouchi in the 93rd minute of play. In the 96th minute, Bechir Belgacem got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Whitchurch City left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Etoile Du Sahel.
