Seating: 1736, VIP seats: 0) Wissem Fitouri made the kick off and thus started the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Mohamed Bey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Whitstable's supporters rose to their feet, but Mohamed Bey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rachid Ghodhbane breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Wissem Fitouri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rachid Ghodhbane was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Wissem Fitouri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hassib Hleli came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Poynton's Hatem Ben Ayari. But to his dismay, Hatem Ben Ayari quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Hatem Ben Ayari might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hassib Hleli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hatem Ben Ayari ran back to his position shaking his head. Hassib Hleli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adel Kadri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hichem Ghodbane 's late challenge caught a Poynton's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hichem Ghodbane helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th minute, Hichem Ghodbane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 28 minutes, Adel Kadri made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Whitstable's Hassib Hleli tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 31st minute, Whitstable's Wissem Fitouri dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. In the 33rd match minute, Poynton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adel Guelbi to maneuver through the defense. Poynton's Rachid Ghodhbane proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Poynton from getting a goal against them. In the 36th minute, Yassine Zouari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pierre Gmamdia kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hatem Ben Ayari stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hassib Hleli made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Adel Kadri sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adel Kadri got free with Hassib Hleli in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 65th match minute, Poynton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yassine Zouari to maneuver through the defense. If Mohamed Bey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rachid Ghodhbane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wissem Fitouri in the 69th minute of play. Rachid Ghodhbane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wissem Fitouri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute of the match Mohamed Ali Mzoughi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hassib Hleli skillfully saved the ball. Adel Kadri took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hassib Hleli. Hassib Hleli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Wissem Fitouri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 94 minutes, Mohamed Bey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Whitstable's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mohamed Bey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Whitstable supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Poynton's performance. The match ended with a win for Poynton.
