Adel Abdi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Mahmoud Guelbi made a huge save. Mehdi Amor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Ladgham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Jaballah in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mahmoud Guelbi saved Winsford from getting behind. Muhammad Souissi hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Moustafa Zitouni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mehdi Amor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moustafa Zitouni in the 45th minute of the match. In the 48thth minute of the game Ali Ladgham who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Whittlesey FC's Mehdi Amor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ali Ladgham to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Whittlesey FC's goalkeeper Mehdi Amor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Moustafa Zitouni.
