Spectators: 6728 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jemeleddine Bejaoui kicked off to start the match. Whittlesey FC's Mehdi Amor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Whittlesey FC from getting a goal against them. Mehdi Amor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ajmi Bouazizi in the 7th minute. Jemeleddine Bejaoui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Mehdi Amor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Whittlesey FC's Mehdi Amor got control of the ball when Ajmi Bouazizi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ajmi Bouazizi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the game, Jemeleddine Bejaoui recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mehdi Amor. Jemeleddine Bejaoui showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Whittlesey FC's Habib Tonniche got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th minute Habib Tonniche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Najeh Badra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th match minute, Gedling was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amir Souissi to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, Habib Tonniche made a precise shot to the right of Najeh Badra . Gedling's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. When Whittlesey FC's Habib Tonniche in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Habib Tonniche in the 44th minute of play forced Gedling's goalkeeper Najeh Badra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpected shot in the 47th minute by Ajmi Bouazizi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Habib Tonniche to strike the kick off in the second half. Habib Tonniche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Najeh Badra having to interfere. After having played for 59 minutes, Adel Abdi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Whittlesey FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adel Abdi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ajmi Bouazizi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gedling's Najeh Badra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Habib Tonniche in the 65th minute of play. After 66 minutes, Amir Souissi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gedling and the Whittlesey FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Gedling booed when Whittlesey FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zoubeir Cherif didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute, Jemeleddine Bejaoui got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Habib Tonniche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Najeh Badra having to interfere.
