Chedly Azaïez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Dali Gammoudi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th match minute, Rawmarsh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Helmi Benzekri to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Habib Ali Nafti in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dali Gammoudi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Shanklin AFC fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Shanklin AFC's Habib Ali Nafti looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fraj Melliti's late challenge caught a Rawmarsh's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fraj Melliti helped the player get up and apologised. Rawmarsh's Dali Gammoudi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Habib Ali Nafti in the 24th minute of play. Shanklin AFC's Habib Ali Nafti got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 26 minutes into the match, Rawmarsh's goal looked a bit too open when Abdelwahab Ayed came free, but Dali Gammoudi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Mohamed Nefzi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Moncef Kasraoui. Shanklin AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mohamed Nefzi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Khaled Ziadi kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After having played for 42 minutes, Abdelwahab Ayed managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shanklin AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdelwahab Ayed was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mohamed Nefzi to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kais Baya during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th minute, Kais Baya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rawmarsh's Adel Stambouli couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 56th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Shanklin AFC. If Abdelwahab Ayed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Rawmarsh's Khaled Ziadi got a free kick in the 75th minute. Chedly Azaïez's late challenge caught a Rawmarsh's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chedly Azaïez helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Shanklin AFC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Chedly Azaïez hit a great ball. Mohamed Nefzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th minute, Kaies Bouazizi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, Mohamed Nefzi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Moncef Kasraoui. Shanklin AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mohamed Nefzi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Shanklin AFC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Rawmarsh had controlled the match.
